Davis Controls Ltd (www.daviscontrols.com) has an immediate opening for a creative, self-motivated, quick-learning individual who can fill the outside field sales role of Technical Account Manager, responsible for Factory Automation and Process Control products in the London – Windsor corridor.

Qualifications
The candidate of choice should have 3-5 years outside sales experience in the industry. and have an Engineering or College degree and technical background (academic + experience) with Process Automation and Industrial Instrumentation.
Duties
The successful candidate will be provided with detailed training on all of the product lines we represent and visits to customers’ manufacturing and production plants will provide first-hand experience and exposure to actual industrial applications.
As a specialist in Process Control and Industrial Instrumentation, you will provide technical support and customer service to clients in the Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Plastics, Printing, Transportation and Health Care Industries as well as to any other industries that might be represented in your assigned territory.
Candidates are expected to have experience with CRM and office software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint and know how to find information on the Internet. Applicants are expected to have superior communication skills (written and oral).
This is a full-time salaried position based in Ontario.

Qualifications
College Degree
Minimum of 3 years experience in similar position
Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fully bilingual; Excellent level of French (written)
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems
Basic accounting knowledge
Capacity to understand technical terms will be an advantage
Ability to multi-task and work autonomously
Extremely organized and time-management skills
Punctual and detailed oriented
Ability to deal with situations, people and problems ethically, with honesty and integrity
Duties
Answer daily incoming phones transfer them to appropriate person or take messages
Process incoming mail, e-mail, fax and electronic filing
Follow-up on receivable account and handle cheques received from the customers
Send invoices to the customers or status of their accounts
Send confirmations to the customer upon receipt of an RFQ
Process RFQs (request for quotations) and purchase orders (PO#s) received from the customers, outside sales force, etc., in our CRM
Check quotations made in Word format, make corrections, and send them to Regional Manager for approval
Create leads/prospects in CRM or edit accounts when modifications are required
Process New Accounts opening by sending Account Opening form, checking references and sending final request to head office
Handle bulk shipments to head office, save paperwork in CRM and put them in binders
Order office supplies
Make translation to French when needed (documents, website, email campaigns, etc.)
Help with sales activity: periodic search on websites for upcoming projects
Handle on-line registration on customer’s portals
Help with delivery confirmations to the customers
Help with some logistic tasks
